Listed below are just a few of the PC Services and Training
I offer. Call or email for specific other needs and I will give you a
quote. Service calls are for Software-related
problems (the most common type) and are not for Hardware-related
problems. I understand that at times it is hard to tell whether it is a
Software, Operating system or Hardware problem that is causing trouble.
I do not perform Hardware repairs. If I cannot repair your system you
will pay only the $25 consultation fee. I will
refer you to a Hardware Specialist for quotes and advice.
Complete PC Set up and Introduction Tour
Setup Service: $95 (Up
to 3 hours per appt.)
Just bought a New PC and need help setting it up? You provide the PC
and I will do a Complete setup for you which includes connections of the
mouse, keyboard and monitor to the PC and installation of any software
required for the system. Includes a brief training session on how
to use the mouse, keyboard, and a tour through the programs and accessories
that came with your New PC. (Set up of scanners, cams or printers may
incur additional time which will require additional labor fees at a discounted
rate per half hr. but you will be informed beforehand)
Specific Problem Solving & Trouble Shooting
Troubleshooting Service:
$65 (Up to 2 hours per appt.)
Have you run into a PC problem and need some help FAST? Can't get your
Email or can't get connected to the Internet? I will come out and
troubleshoot it and repair it if possible. If I cannot correct or find
the problem, only the $25 Consultation fee is charged.
Computer Basic Training
PC Basic Training Session:
$55 (2 hours per appt.)
Learn how to navigate on your computer. Includes learning
to identify main computer parts, the basic functions, how to start and shut
down properly, how to manage your folders, files and more. Learn about
your mouse functions, copy files to disks, or create a start up disk.
Learn the basics on how to use your computer!
Specific Training Call
Personalized Training:
$55 (2 hours per appt.)
Is there a specific technique or procedure that you need to learn without
going through an entire course of training? Need to learn to use a
scanner or transfer photos to/from your pc or by email? Call
and tell me what you need!
Installation Service Call
Installation of Software, Scanner or Printer: $55
(2 hours per appt.)
Do you need your new scanner or printer installed? Need
to install a new software program? Call and let me give you a quote.
Includes Installation and also a brief tour on how to use your new scanner or
printer.
PC Clean up
Service & Training Session:
$55 (2 hours per appt)
Need your Computer cleaned up? This includes learning
to cleanout the unneeded files and unwanted programs on your computer,
performing tasks that will speed up your pc's start up process and learning
while you do! Learn to Start up and Shut Down properly, use the
Clean up Tools such as Scan Disk and Defrag, organize your Start up programs,
clean out unneeded files in your Temporary folders and more!
A $25 consultation Fee will apply per Visit
